It started raining yesterday and has been this morning since everything is wet. Right now it has stopped but it hasn't cleared up yet.

I hope today to go to Sam's. Sam's is a club store which sells large quantities at cheaper prices. There are only some things the two of us can use large quantities, but there are some we can saved with.

Today I have my art class. Yesterday I got all the wash done and cooked the turkey. This makes today's dinner easy. Just reheat the turkey LOL

I did make it to the bagel store yesterday and we had bagels for yesterday's lunch and this morning's breakfast. Today I am making a turkey for dinner. When the turkey's go on sale around the holiday's we buy a few frozen ones to make during the year. My eldest daughter is going to come for dinner to help us eat it. My younger daughter is up near Lake Tahoe. She sent me a text message yesterday saying"It's snowing" She hoped it would do that while she was up there this weekend because she had never seen snow fall. I know she is thrilled. She had called on Saturday saying she was was doing cross country skiing for the first time. She and her friends had snowshoed for an hour and then taken a cross country ski lesson and were now doing a 4 km beginning trail. she has never done any of these things before. She said this was suppose to be a relaxing weekend for her and she was doing all of this. I said that doing fun things with friends was relaxing even if it was very active. I suggested she find a whirlpool to soak in that evening because she might be sore after such a day, but the exercise was very good for her and I hoped she was having fun. It sure sounded like she was and now it was snowing LOL

Maybe later I will go to our local bagel shop and purchase some for tomorrow's breakfast.

Today is that every other Friday that my husband has off with his new schedule. It feels like a weekend this way. I made a chicken salad sandwich for lunch since he was home too.

I hope to go to a new kitchen store in the neighborhood, Sur La Tab which my daughter gave me a gift card today.

This morning I had a nail appointment and then did my weekly marketing. Yesterday I started a new chapter story with a different tie line. Now the question is can I continue it.

I have lots of phone calls to make today. seems I am always dealing with medical insurance companies. Yuck

This screen cap is from Buffalo Soldiers like my fan fiction. Last Night we went to see the show Legends. It stared Linda Evans and Joan Collins. It had bad reviews, but it was better than the reviews said. It wasn't great but better than expected. The supporting actors were quite good. It did give me some laughs and an enjoyable evening

Last night I went to see the movie Return to Paradise co-written by William Shockly, who also played a character in it. I loved the movie. If you get a chance to see it I suggest you do!

Today is the day I go to see William's movie at my church. I will leave her at 3 to brave the LA freeway Friday afternoon traffic to meet my friend Jo Ann for dinner and then to go to church together!

Later I think I will make it to the market to pick up odds and ends. Last night I finally used our exercise machine which I should use more often.

It has been so cold around here there has been ice in the morning. This is very unusual in Southern CA.In spite of this cold weather we have been having around here I boughta new bathing suit the other day. I know that is strange, but I do like to go to the gym and swim for exercise. When we were on our last cruise and snorkling Tom said my swim suit was thread bear. He doesn't notice such things often so I tossed it right there not bother it pack it to bring home.

I picked 3 screen caps that could illustrate my first fan fiction story. If you had told me I would ever write a story that people would read I would have laughed in you face, but I guess anything can happen even if it is not Christmas Eve.

Yesterday I made it to the gym and used my kick board in the pool to get some exercise. My husband is now on a compressed schedule so he gets every other Friday off. We are going to our broker to go over our few investments.

I went to lunch with a friend today. She picked me up here to see my kitchen which she also loved especially the tile floor.

My art class starts again today. After that I hope to make the bank and clean out my car. I enjoyed having my daughter hear last evening for dinner.

I did go out shopping yesterday, but I didn't find anything to even try on. I am doing the wash today and my one daughter is comming for dinner. She is picking up a friend at the airport this evening so she is comming early to visit. She requested I make her Grandma's chicken soup since she doesn't make that for herself.

I bought 4 new books yesterday. Our contractor is coming today to finis some odds and ends. I hope to get some exercise in today. I need more of that!

All of our Christmas things got packed away yesterday as usual, but I will miss them. I love Christmas! I hope to make it to a book store today. I love reading, but I am behind in reading the books I have bought and yet I want to buy more. I am currently reading Twelfth Card by Jeffery Deaver. I didn't make any resolutions, but I know if Rainne has anything to do with it publishing should be LOL
