A lot has happened this year. I started writing 3 fan fiction, not that they are published yet. I have started to blog. I have a new kitchen, or at least almost.These are examples of things new and different this year. I wish you all a very happy new year! I am looking forward to mine

Today I intend to go to the farmer's market since it is really open on Saturday. I actually made french toast for breakfast with the griddle on my stove. It sure cooks well. We have decided to go to Disneyland for New Years Eve, tomorrow.

I did get my marketing done yesterday and bought some birthday cards at Hallmark. I plan on going to another market today to find things I couldn't find yesterday. I have panned to make French Toast for breakfast tomorrow. I like using the new griddle built in on my new stove. This screen cap is from Right or Wrong. I showed how smart I was yesterday. I went to the farmers market and when I got there and saw it wasn't there I realized that yesterday wasn't Tuesday, but Wed. Our farmers market is on Tuesday and Sat. not Wed. I need to go to the regular market today and to buy greeting cards.

We watched the latest Harry Potter Movie that I received from my nice for Christmas last night. I hope to make it to the farmer's market today and to the mall.

I have a lot to do tody. We decided we need one more gift last night. I have a present still to wrap. I have to buy cold cuts for tonights dinner after church. I have to buy bagels for tomorrow's breakfast. I am sure I will think of other things I have forgotten. I did buy some new dress shoes yesterday. We finally decorated our tree last night. I might get around to baking Christmas cookies today.

Last night we went to the design center to return an extra piece of cabinetry for which we should get a refund. we also went shopping and then out to dinner. I might go shoe shopping today. the screen cap today is from Ladies Night

Our kitchen passed inspection this morning. All that is left in my kitchen are the blinds. They will take 5 - 7 weeks. Now I have to organize it which is a big job. I am all ready enjoying using it. Believe it or not we are all ready making chages. We have an appointment later to look at railings. We thought we would like a low one at the bottom of the kitchen bar since we have high chairs and they would be good to give a boost when getting into them. I also finished Christmas shopping yesterday!

I have to wait around for workman today. They are currently sealing the back splash and it stinks. I need to get to a post office to finally mail my Christmas cards. I also need to get to a store to buy a DVD that comes out today and to a sale. If I make it to these places I could finish my Christmas shopping.

Between putting the kitchen back together and trying to clean up from the kitchen construction we are very behind getting ready for Christmas. I hope we get there. We did actually sat down and watched a DVD last night. You can't work all of the time. I hope to make it to the cleaners, Christmas shop, and mail Christmas cards assuming I finish them. Assuming I get that all done as well as put things in the kitchen in a way I will remember where I put them. We'll see.

I need to go to the market sometime today. I am getting close to finishing my Christmas shopping. I have to wait for some on the 19th since I need a DVD that just comes out that day and there is a sale in a store near here. I am getting to put things in my kitchen and clean up some of my house. It won't be done until at least Jan., but I can use it.

We are going to see Lion King tonight. We are getting close to getting finished with our Christmas shopping. We go a tree, but it isn't decorated yet.

No workman. I can Christmas shop today. I did go out last night shopping. I was successful at Sams, but I couldn't get the calendar I wanted at the mall. I ended up walking forever and didn't succeed. I will go out again today and try again for the calendar and other things. My screen cap is form the Abduction of course

I am sitting home stuck with workmen working on my kitchen. I know I look forward to getting my kitchen done but I have Christmas shopping to do.

I have a nail appointment this morning and then I planned to go buy stamps and do some Christmas shopping, but I go a call and the plumber is coming so after my appointment I will come right home and sit, again. Oh when will others not determine my life?

Still trying to get my kitchen finished. Went to bed early for me and got up too early. Here is a picture from my cruise. This is a turtle I found on one of my snorkle tours. I think the turtle posed for me because it thought it was safe in those rocks. Sometimes I have trouble lining up my camera on a fish when snorkling since fish move. It was nice of this turtle to hold still for me.

I leave tonight for San Juan Porto Rico. I am going to be on the Crown Princess, which is the newest Princess ship. We are going on back to back one week cruises. They are different itineries. You can go to Princess . com and see where we are through their web camera they have on each of her ships. I will have computer acess but not to my favorite places so I will probably not be here. I will get e mail I will be back 12/9

Since I can't have Thanksgiving here due to the lack of a kitchen this is a restful day for me. I have all ready made Jane's Cranberry Relish to take to my sister's house. I will mae the yams later. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Most of you know I am a reader of fan fiction and not a writer. However, I was talked into trying my hand at writing. I found it fun much to my surprise. I have written 2 stories and have been encouraged to post the second one. If I was I would need some people to proofread since I don't see errors well. I think it is all the years as an elementary teacher and encouraging students to write and worry about errors later. I don't want to ask because I know you all have busy lives and wonderful stories to write that I love to read and I don't want to take away form that. So if you feel like you have the time just let me know.

Weird Day 1. Good - The cabinets came and they will start working on my kitchen Friday 2. Bad - My sister who is cooking Thaksgiving since they didn't finish my kitchen had her refrigerator stop working while she was out of town and all the food including Thanksgiving has to be tossed.

I am still waiting for cabinets to show up so they can finish my kitchern. This is so frustrating. I love to cook and enjoy kitchen tools. For my birthday my husband gave me a gift card from William Sanoma. I think today I will go to that store and look aroung to perk myself up

Today is my last water color class until after the first of the year. I do enjoy them, but I am terrible. I have finally given up trying to paint pictures that are completly mine and have bought some books to follow step by step directions. Hey Jane could write one of those!

My package finally came yesterday afternoon. Yea! Today I plan on doing some Christmas shopping on line since I am going to be gone for the first 2 weeks of the Christmas shopping season. I have to be careful to only order small things right now so they can fit through the mail slot. I don't want packages sitting out in front of my house while we are gone. My kitchen is still stuck. They were suppose to do some more work next week before Thanksgiving, but I haven't een gotten word if the replacement cabinets have shipped. I hate living like this. To get a few more miles on one airline that we needed we signed up for Netflex so we are getting more movies to watch. We currently have Capote which my husband and I plan to sit down and watch together tonight. Since the star won the Oscar over Juanquene Phinox for Walk the Line, which we loved I wanted to see his performance. Saturday nights is the best night for us to watch movies together since there is nothing on that night that either of us like. Isin't a shame. Saturday Night use to be my favorite night of television when DQ was on.

I am sitting here waiting for a package that is suppose to arrive between 8 am and 7 pm. It has to have a signature so I am suppose to sit here the whole time. In my opinion this is rediculous. My time is valuable too. I have to have this package so here I sit. I don't think this is fair. I made some calls and supposidly if I miss the delviery I can call and pick it up somewhere tonight. At least that is better, I hate being required to sit here.
