It has only gotten into the 50's the last few days as well as being very windy. this is quite cold for us so near the beach. the ocean usually regulates the weather keeping it rather temperate. I bought some asparagus yesterday which I will make tonight for dinner. The farmer's market wasn't as crowded as usual probably due to the weather. It had also rained earlier.

I hope to make it to our city's farmers market even though it is cold and rainy today

I have my art class today.

I went to church and then o the book store today.

I hope to do some painting today.

Today is Tom's every other Friday off. They came and fixed something on the stove hood. They are suppose to come out to do the final walk through on our kitchen, but we don't know yet when. We had waffles for breakfast.

My new glasses finally came in today and I need to do the big marketing. We are going to Mimi's Cafe for dinner.

I hope to make it to the market today to pick up a few odds and ends that are on sale. On my way out yesterday I discovered that our water heater was leaking. this is when it pays to have a handy husband. It turned out it was some hoses which my husband replaced himself for about $45. It could have been a lot worse since we looked up the water heater and it is all ready 12 years old and replacing it would have been a lot more expensive!

I am going to a funeral today for my friend's father. Barbara and I have been friends since 2nd grade. I guess we are just at the age for losing parents. I am not looking forward to this, but Barbara was at my father's services and I feel the need to be here today!

For those of you that have listened to me about my kitchen here it is just waiting for the final walk through.

I wasn't successful shopping yesterday. The show was OK last night. Today I plan to make an experimental recipe of a grilled vegetable soup. It is also wash day here.

My husband is currently getting me a new tire since a bubble has developed on it. Tonight we are going to a show Alterz Boys.

I have been busy today. First I had my nails done as well as my hair. Later I went shopping at a couple of stores and actually bought a blouse, but still need pants to go with it.

I had a lovely Valentine's day yesterday. First the dentist went better than I expected. Where I feel sensitivity they way it is just below a crown and they put something on it to curb it. I am not convinced, but if the dentist doesn't want to do anything then who am I to argue. My husband and I had a lovely dinner out at one of my favorite restaurants and he gave me a Sees certificate which I love and new fins. I know odd thing for winter,but I love snorkeling when we travel. I hope all of your days were as nice!

This morning I have a dentist appointment which I am fearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have art again today. The advantage of going to class makes me sit and do so painting. I am very good at procrastination.

Nothing do I have particularly planned today. My husband is having a medical test tomorrow morning that I need to take him to and he can't eat today so I will bring in something for my dinner later. Yesterday at my doctor's appointment I learned my blood test were great. My cholesterol was 139 and my sugar 5.5., both amazingly low. Now if I could only lose weight. I have proof of my better choices in what to eat,but I guess I still eat too much and exercise not enough.

I have a doctor's appointment later. I then plan to go and try and buy some paints and paper.

I had my annual eye exam today and have ordered new glasses. I also made it to the cleaners. Last night we watched the DVD Chocolat. We enjoyed it

Art class today! Last night I made an experimental peanut butter cookies. I hop everyone has a good day!

I plan to go to the market today to pick up odds and ends. Yesterday after the party we stopped at the Container Store and bought a plastic container to keep my smaller utensils organized in my kitchen drawer.

We went a a friends 90th birthday party. I hadn't seen her in quite awhile. she and her husband were very good friends with my parents. We often spent Christmas Day at their home. She was very active and still as sharp as a tack. It broke my heart that my parents weren't there. They had dancing and my folks loved to dance. My parents passed away 10 years ago and I of course still miss them. I could see what it would have been like if they were healthier and still alive.

Yesterday I bought some new canisters and utensil jars of my new kitchen. I also bout a bathing suit that I ordered in a different size a while ago. Today I plan on doing my big grocery shopping

I had blood drawn this morning, fasting to prepare for my doctor's appointment next week. It was too early then to run errands, so later I hope to make it to William Sanoma where I still have some of my birthday gift card left to spend on things for my kitchen. I also hope to make it to Nordstroms since they called that they had gotten in something I wanted to try on.
